As a professional photographer, my goal is to capture more than just a moment. I want to tell the story of who you are. Whether it's the confidence you feel in your head shots, or the joy bound in your wedding day, I bring these emotions to life through my lens.
Born and raised in Houston, I moved to Austin, Texas in 1998. This vibrant city has become my home and an essential part of who I am. I bring that creative spirit with me, even when working in far off locations around the country and the world.
Two Decades of Creating Memories
I spent the early part of my career shooting images for publication. Many of my photos were featured in magazines around the world, and I took a lot of pride in my work. Then one day, the bottom fell out, and the number of jobs for photographers diminished significantly. I found myself without much to look forward to until a friend asked me to second shoot for him at a wedding he had coming up. I accepted, and quickly fell in love. Weddings became an obsession, and I have photographed one or been part of one nearly every weekend ever since.
I love that the images I create will be cherished by the couple and their families long after the wedding day is over. Some day, they will sit in the retirement home and the photo on their night stand will be their wedding photo. Their kids will try to recreate it at their own wedding, and their grandchildren and great grandchildren will someday have it on the memorial table. It fills me with a sense of awe and responsibility.
